How we work

We're a small, diverse team, building a product that makes sign language more accessible.

We live inclusion

We have an international and diverse team of Deaf and hearing people. We collaborate across countries, with colleagues both in the office and remotely around the world, to build a product that connects people. Staying connected to the Deaf community is at the heart of our work. To support this, we sponsor sign language classes for all employees, taught by a native Deaf teacher.

We design for learning

We focus on meaningful learning rather than passive engagement. Every lesson is designed to maximize language retention and mastery by combining advanced technologies with proven learning methods. Because learning is most effective when it connects to everyday life, our content centers on practical, real-world topics.

We are self-funded

We're funded by our learners, not by ads or third parties. This allows us to focus fully on improving the learning experience with new features and fresh content.

We love having fun!

We believe great work happens in a positive and supportive environment. That's why we make time to connect and celebrate together. From daily table tennis matches at the office (where competition can get surprisingly serious) to virtual hangouts with remote colleagues, team events, and our annual retreat, we create many moments to bond, share ideas, and enjoy the journey as a team.
