Our mission is to break down language barriers and build bridges between Deaf and hearing people. The way we do that is by creating easy-to-use
Sign Language courses for real-life situations.

We live inclusion

Lingvano consists of an international and diverse team of Deaf, and hearing people. We are collaboratively working together to help you connect with Deaf relatives, friends, colleagues, or neighbors.

Founded in 2018

We quickly grew to become one of the largest platforms for learning Sign Languages online. We are currently offering courses for American Sign Language (ASL), British Sign Language (BSL), and Austrian Sign Language (OEGS).

We obsess over creating the best learning experience possible. To achieve that, we combine advanced technologies with state-of-the-art learning methods. And because what’s most relevant to you also happens to stay in your memory the longest, our learning content is all about topics from everyday life.

Meet your online teachers

All of the teachers at Lingvano are Deaf and share a strong passion for teaching Sign Languages. For our ASL courses, Elizabeth, Abraham, and Cecilia will guide you on your ASL learning journey!

For our Austrian Sign Language courses, Atilla, who is also one of the co-founders of Lingvano, is the main person you will see in all of the course videos.

How we finance ourselves

With no ads and a transparent, subscription-based business model, we work directly for you, the learner – not for any third party. This way we can constantly improve and expand the learning experience by developing new, exciting features and adding new content.
